Yuliya Kim, chief executive of Caspian Korea, attended the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, held on November 4–6. The annual gathering, widely regarded as the world’s leading forum for urban innovation, brings together policymakers, technology companies and experts shaping the future of city development.
During the event, Ms. Kim held a series of high-level meetings with representatives of KPMG Global, the World Economic Forum and officials involved in Saudi Arabia’s major urban projects in Neom and Riyadh. Discussions focused on best practices in building support ecosystems for smart cities and opportunities for collaboration. The possibility of presenting Alatau City to global investors at the World Economic Forum in Davos was also explored.
To advance work on an international investment strategy for Alatau City and to raise the project’s global profile, Ms. Kim continued her discussions in London, where she met with senior representatives at KPMG’s UK office.
The trip marked another notable step in the development of Alatau City, broadening the project’s international partnerships and reinforcing its ambitions on the global stage.
